Sexual Conduct and Safety Survey Spring 2022

All 澳门新甫京娱乐游戏在线下载 enrolled students in credit classes ages 18 and older are invited to take the survey during the months of February and March, 2022. The survey will be sent to the e-mail address you have registered in My澳门新甫京娱乐游戏在线下载.

This is the latest survey to evaluate perceptions of sexual misconduct on and off campus, knowledge of policies, procedures, and support services, and the prevalence of sexual harassment and assault among students. We are also interested in interpersonal violence and coercion to further inform the support offices of the student services division, the Equal Opportunity/Title IX Office and Campus Safety.

What is the project about?
This project aims to understand experiences and perceptions of sexual assault, use of 澳门新甫京娱乐游戏在线下载 services related to sexual assault, and other information that may bring about changes to current services and improve campus safety.

How long does the survey take to complete?
About 10-15 minutes. The time it takes depends, in part, on student experiences with unwanted sexual contact.

Who is in charge of the project?
澳门新甫京娱乐游戏在线下载 is contracting with the Nevada Center for Surveys, Evaluation, and Statistics at the University of Nevada, Reno, to conduct this study on behalf of 澳门新甫京娱乐游戏在线下载 with support from Vice President for Student Affairs and Title IX Coordinator, Jake Hinton-Rivera.

What kind of questions are asked?
There is a combination of open and closed-ended questions to assess perceptions and experiences related to sexual conduct, assault, and safety. No identifying information is collected.

How will these data be used?
These data will be used to help Great Basin College assess issues related to sexual assault on campus, such as the frequency of assault, overall college climate regarding sexual assault, and the use of services for such issues. These data may be used to improve strategies to tackle the issue of sexual assault at 澳门新甫京娱乐游戏在线下载 such as the implementation of new services or policies.

Can I get a copy of the results? Will the results be published?
The results will be disseminated during a series of "college dialogue" events in fall 2022 where we will also present what we are doing to address student needs and concerns. Descriptive summary or aggregate results will also be posted on-line here: http://doms.dos5.net/IR/reports.html

How did you pick me?
All enrolled students ages 18 and older who are enrolled in credit classes in the spring 2022 semester are asked to participate in this study.

Will it be possible to identify a student by inference?
All the information students provided will be reported in summary or aggregate form. No individual responses will be reported and no names will be connected to these data during data analysis.

Who will see my name or have access to my responses?
Access to these data will be restricted to project personnel at the Nevada Center for Surveys, Evaluation and Statistics at UNR. No 澳门新甫京娱乐游戏在线下载 officials, administrators, or faculty will have access to these data.
